About This Game

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is an action-adventure game where Link is thrown into the parallel world of Termina and must prevent the moon from crashing into the world within a three-day cycle, using masks to gain abilities and solve puzzles.

Story

Link is chased by the Skull Kid into a mysterious portal and lands in the parallel world of Termina, where the Skull Kid wearing Majora's Mask intends to pull the moon down to destroy the world in three days. Link must recover his Ocarina, learn the Song of Time, and gather powerful masks to halt the catastrophe and restore peace.

Guide & Tips

Start by speaking with the Happy Mask Salesman to recover your Ocarina of Time, learn the Song of Time to reset the three‑day loop, then explore the four regions, collect masks, defeat the four temple bosses, and finally face the Skull Kid on the Clock Tower.

Controls

Control Stick – Move; A – Jump/Attack; B – Use Item; Z – Target/Lock‑on; C‑Up/Down/Left/Right – Assign Items; Start – Pause Menu.

Cheats & Passwords

Various cheat codes exist via GameShark or Action Replay, such as infinite health, infinite rupees, and the ability to freeze the moon's timer.

Trivia

The game was built on the same engine as Ocarina of Time and was originally planned as an expansion pack; its unique three‑day cycle was inspired by the film Groundhog Day; the mask‑collecting mechanic encourages multiple playthroughs; a famous creepypasta named 'Ben' originated from a glitch in the Nintendo 64 version.
