About This Game
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo DS where Link pilots a magical train to restore the Spirit Tracks and save the kingdom of Hyrule from an ancient evil.
Story
A century after the events of Phantom Hourglass, the evil Chancellor Cole seeks to resurrect the Demon King Malladus by breaking the Spirit Tracks that bind his spirit. Link, accompanied by Princess Zelda (whose spirit resides in a phantom), must travel across Hyrule by train, restore the tracks, and seal away the ancient evil once more.
Guide & Tips
Begin by learning to control the train on the overworld, using the touch screen to draw routes and the D-pad to adjust speed. Complete dungeons to obtain new weapons and abilities, then use them to solve puzzles and defeat bosses. Collect Force Gems to restore the Spirit Tracks and progress the story.
Controls
D-pad: Move Link / steer train; A: Action (talk, swing sword, interact); B: Cancel / use secondary item; L/R: Open map or change camera; Touch Screen: Draw train routes, select items, draw symbols for abilities.
Trivia
Spirit Tracks is the first Zelda game to feature a train as the primary means of transportation, and it introduced the 'Spirit Flute' mechanic where players draw notes on the touch screen to play songs.
