About This Game
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX is an enhanced remake of the original Game Boy classic Link's Awakening, released for the Game Boy Color. It adds color graphics, a new Color Dungeon, and an improved photo shop, while retaining the original's charming story and gameplay.
Story
Link washes ashore on the mysterious Koholint Island after a storm. Guided by a talking owl, he learns that to leave the island he must awaken the sleeping Wind Fish by collecting the Eight Instruments of the Sirens hidden across the island's dungeons.

Begin by exploring Koholint Island, collect the Eight Instruments of the Sirens by completing dungeons, obtain key items like the Power Bracelet and Pegasus Boots, then play the Ballad of the Wind Fish to awaken it and leave the island.
Controls
D-Pad: Move Link; A Button: Swing sword / use equipped item; B Button: Use item assigned to B; Start Button: Open menu / pause; Select Button: Switch between assigned A and B items.
Trivia
Link's Awakening DX was the first Zelda game to appear on a handheld console and introduced the exclusive Color Dungeon. It also features a cameo of Mario in the form of a portrait that can be photographed.
