About This Game
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo DS where Link and Princess Zelda embark on a journey by train to restore the Spirit Tracks that protect the realm.
Story
After the events of Phantom Hourglass, Link and Princess Zelda travel to the Spirit Tracks to prevent the demon king Malladus from returning. They must restore the tracks by gathering Spirit Gems, defeating monsters, and rebuilding the rail lines that seal away evil.
Guide & Tips
Use the touch screen to draw the train's route, solve puzzles with the bow, boomerang, and whip, upgrade your sword and shield at the blacksmith, collect Force Gems to unlock new tracks, and defeat enemies by timing your attacks.
Controls
D-pad: Move Link; A: Action / Sword attack; B: Cancel / Use item; L: Use equipped item; R: Use secondary item; Touch Screen: Draw train route, interact with objects, draw symbols for special abilities; Start: Pause; Select: Open map.
Trivia
Spirit Tracks is the first Zelda game to feature a train as the main mode of transportation, and it introduced the unique mechanic of drawing train routes on the touch screen to control travel and solve puzzles.
