About This Game

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is an action-adventure game for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Capcom in collaboration with Nintendo. Link must restore Princess Zelda, who has been turned to stone, by using the mystical Minish Cap to shrink and interact with the tiny Minish race while collecting the four Elements to reforge the Picori Blade.

Story

When the evil sorcerer Vaati breaks the Picori Blade and turns Princess Zelda to stone, Link is entrusted with the mystical Minish Cap by the talking hat Ezlo. The cap allows Link to shrink to the size of the Minish, a tiny race living secretly in Hyrule. By aiding the Minish and recovering the four Elements that once powered the Picori Blade, Link can reforge the sword, defeat Vaati, and restore Zelda to her true form.

Guide & Tips

Begin by obtaining the Minish Cap from Ezlo in Hyrule Town. Use the cap to shrink and explore Minish-sized areas to find hidden items and the four Elements (Earth, Fire, Water, Wind). Each Element is guarded by a dungeon boss; defeat them to reclaim the Element. After collecting all four, reforge the Picori Blade at the Four Sword Sanctuary, then confront Vaati in his castle to rescue Zelda. Side quests include collecting Kinstone pieces, hunting for hidden heart pieces, and upgrading your sword and shield.

Controls

Trivia

The Minish Cap was the first original Zelda title released exclusively for the Game Boy Advance. It was developed by Capcom using the same engine that powered their GBA game 'Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga'. The game introduces the Kinstone fusion mechanic, which later appeared in later Zelda titles as a form of item combination.
