About This Game
The Legend of Zelda II: Link's Adventure is the second installment in the legendary Zelda series, blending side-scrolling action with RPG elements. Players guide Link through the kingdom of Hyrule, battling monsters, gaining experience, and collecting six crystals to break the sleeping spell on Princess Zelda.
Story
After defeating Ganon in the original The Legend of Zelda, Link learns that Princess Zelda has fallen into a deep sleep cast by a vengeful wizard. To break the spell, Link must travel across Hyrule, defeat the guardians in six palaces, and place the magical crystals in their statues to awaken Zelda.
Guide & Tips
Begin by exploring the overworld map; enter towns to talk to NPCs for hints and buy items. In side-scrolling areas, defeat enemies to earn experience points that increase Link's attack, magic, and life. Use the sword (B) to attack, jump (A) to avoid obstacles, and use spells from the magic menu. Collect the six crystals hidden in palaces and place them in the corresponding statues to awaken Zelda.

Trivia
Zelda II was the first game in the series to feature side‑scrolling action combined with RPG leveling mechanics. It was originally released on the Famicom Disk System in Japan, and its Japanese subtitle "Link no Bouken" directly translates to "Link's Adventure". The Famicom Mini version on GBA adds a suspend‑point save feature, allowing players to pause and resume at any time.
