About This Game

The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons is an action-adventure game developed by Capcom and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Color. As one of the two linked Oracle titles, Link must travel across the land of Holodrum, collect the eight Essences of Nature, and thwart the plans of the evil General Onox to restore the proper seasons.

Guide & Tips

Begin in Holodrum, obtain the Sword from the starting village, and explore the overworld. Enter each of the eight dungeons to collect an Essence of Nature, using the Rod of Seasons to change the season and solve environmental puzzles. Defeat each dungeon boss, gather all Essences, then infiltrate Onox’s Castle to rescue the Oracle of Seasons, Din, and restore balance to the world.

D-Pad: Move Link; A Button: Swing sword / use selected item; B Button: Use assigned item / dash; Start Button: Open menu; Select Button: View map.

Trivia

Developed by Capcom and released in 2001, the Oracle games were designed to be linked via passwords, allowing items and progress to carry over between Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. They were the last original Zelda titles for the Game Boy Color, and the soundtrack was composed by Kazumi Totaka.
