About This Game

Go! Go! Ackman is a side-scrolling action platformer released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1994. Players control Ackman, a young demon tasked by the Devil to harvest souls while navigating through colorful, monster-filled stages.

Story

Ackman is a mischievous young demon sent by the Devil to collect souls from the living world. Armed with his trusty pitchfork, he must traverse six vibrant stages filled with monsters, traps, and challenging bosses to fulfill his quota and prove his worth as a demon apprentice.

Guide & Tips

The game consists of six stages, each divided into sections with a boss at the end. Use the D-pad to move left/right and crouch, A to jump, B to attack with your pitchfork, and Y to use special items when collected. Collect souls scattered throughout the level to increase your score and gain extra lives. Watch out for enemy patterns and environmental hazards; learn boss attack cycles to defeat them efficiently. Pause with Start and access the options menu with Select.

Trivia

The game is based on Akira Toriyama's manga 'Ackman!', which debuted in 1993. Despite its charming art style, Go! Go! Ackman was relatively obscure outside Japan and remained unofficially translated until fan groups like the 模拟中文网汉化小组 released a Chinese version.
