About This Game
Dragon Quest III (Super Famicom/SNES) is the classic remake of the 1988 NES title, featuring enhanced graphics, sound, and the iconic vocation system that lets players change their characters' classes at Alltrades Abbey.
Story
The protagonist is the child of the legendary hero Ortega, who ventured forth to defeat the Archfiend Baramos. Following their parent's footsteps, the hero sets out from the kingdom of Aliahan, gathers allies, and changes vocations to grow stronger. After defeating Baramos, they discover that the true evil is the dark wizard Zoma, who threatens to plunge the world into darkness. The hero must ultimately confront Zoma and restore peace to the realm.

Trivia
Dragon Quest III was the first entry in the series to introduce the vocation (class change) system, allowing players to reclass characters at Alltrades Abbey. The SNES remake, released in 1996, featured updated graphics, a new orchestral soundtrack, and added anime-style cutscenes. This particular Chinese version was translated by the Elf Production Group (精灵制作组) based on a v0.99.2 beta build.
