Zelda II - The Adventure of Link (Europe) (Rev 2)
About This Game
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link is the second installment in the Legend of Zelda series, released for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Unlike its top-down predecessor, this game features side-scrolling action combined with RPG elements such as experience points, magic spells, and a level‑up system. Link must travel across Hyrule to awaken Princess Zelda from a sleeping spell and defeat the evil Shadow Link.
Story
After defeating Ganon in the original Legend of Zelda, peace returns to Hyrule—until a mysterious spell casts Princess Zelda into a deep sleep. The only way to break the curse is to collect the six hidden crystals scattered across the land and place them in the Great Palace. Link embarks on a perilous journey, battling monsters, gaining experience, and mastering powerful magic to awaken Zelda and restore harmony to the kingdom.
Guide & Tips
Begin by exploring the overworld to find the first palace (Parapa Palace). Defeat the boss to obtain the Spell 'Shield'. Collect experience points by defeating enemies to raise Link's attack, magic, and life levels. Visit towns to talk to NPCs for hints and purchase items. Progress through the six palaces (Parapa, Midoro, Island, Maze, Ocean, and Rocks) acquiring new spells (Jump, Fire, Life, Reflect, Shield, and Thunder). After obtaining all spells, enter the Great Palace to confront Shadow Link and rescue Zelda.
