About This Game
Double Dragon 3 is the third installment in the classic beat-'em-up series, featuring Billy and Jimmy Lee fighting against the criminal organization Scorpions. Players travel across multiple countries in this side-scrolling action game.
Story
Billy and Jimmy Lee discover that Marian has been kidnapped again, this time by the evil Scorpion organization. The brothers travel around the world - from city streets to ancient temples - to rescue her and destroy the criminal syndicate.
Guide & Tips
Use basic attacks and combos to defeat enemies. Collect weapon power-ups like pipes and knives. Learn to block and dodge enemy attacks. Watch for environmental hazards and use them against opponents.
Controls
D-pad: Move. A button: Punch/Jump. B button: Kick. Start: Pause. Select: Special attack when energy is full.
Cheats & Passwords
At title screen press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A for infinite lives. Stage select available by holding A+B on controller 2.
Trivia
Double Dragon 3 was notable for being one of the first games to feature digitized speech samples. The NES version is significantly different from the arcade original, with fewer stages and different gameplay mechanics.
