About This Game
Adventure Island 3 is a platform game developed by Hudson Soft and released for the NES in 1992. It's the third installment in the Adventure Island series featuring Master Higgins.
Story
Master Higgins is back on a new adventure to rescue his girlfriend Tina from the clutches of the evil witch doctor. He must travel through various islands, facing numerous enemies and obstacles to save his love.
Guide & Tips
Players control Master Higgins through various islands, collecting fruits to maintain health and avoid enemies. The game features multiple worlds with several levels each. Players can ride dinosaurs for additional abilities and must find the hidden egg in each level to continue. Be sure to collect weapons to defeat enemies more effectively.
Controls
Directional pad: Move left/right, jump up. Start: Pause game. A button: Jump. B button: Attack/throw weapon.
Cheats & Passwords
At the title screen, entering the code 'TAKASHI' starts the game with 9 lives. Another code 'HELLO' gives infinite lives. For level select, press and hold A + B + Start, then press Select.
Trivia
Adventure Island 3 was known for its challenging difficulty and improved graphics compared to its predecessors. The game was later re-released on the Wii Virtual Console in 2008. It's based on the anime series 'Adventure Island' which was known as 'Wonder Boy Monster Land' in some regions.
