About This Game

Story

Guide & Tips
Use the D-pad to move the tetromino left or right. Press Down for a soft drop (faster fall). Press A to rotate the piece clockwise. Press B for a hard drop (instant placement). Press Start to pause the game. Press Select to toggle between game types or adjust settings on the title screen.

Trivia
Tetris was created by Russian programmer Alexey Pajitnov in 1984. The NES version, published by Nintendo in 1989, was the first official console release and helped popularize the game worldwide. The iconic Korobeiniki melody used in the NES version is a Russian folk tune.
