About This Game

Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword (known in Japan as Fire Emblem: Fūinkō) is a tactical role‑playing game released for the Game Boy Advance. Players command a group of knights, mages and archers across grid‑based battlefields, making strategic decisions about positioning, class promotion, and weapon choice.

Story

Set in the continent of Elibe, the story follows the twin princes Seliph and Leif as they rally allies to reclaim their homeland from the despotic empire of Grado. Their quest intertwines with the legendary sword, the Blazing Sword, and a mysterious dragon that threatens the world.

Guide & Tips

1. **Class Promotion** – When a unit reaches level 10, you can promote them to a more powerful class (e.g., Myrmidon → Swordmaster). Promotion restores a few HP and grants better stats. 2. **Weapon Triangle** – Sword > Axe > Lance > Sword. Use the appropriate weapon to gain a damage bonus and avoid penalties. 3. **Support Conversations** – Position units next to each other at the end of a turn to unlock support dialogues, which provide stat boosts. 4. **Manage Fatigue** – Units can only act a limited number of times per chapter; rotate your roster to keep key characters alive. 5. **Boss Strategies** – Most bosses are vulnerable to a specific weapon type; bring a unit equipped with that weapon and focus on avoiding their counter‑attacks.
