About This Game
Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies is a role-playing game developed by Level-5 and published by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS. Players create a customizable Celestrian hero and embark on a quest to protect the world from darkness while gathering the mystical Fyggs to restore the World Tree.
Story
As a Celestrian tasked with overseeing the human realm, you are stripped of your wings after a fateful encounter and must live among mortals. To regain your celestial status and save the World Tree, you embark on a journey to collect the elusive Fyggs, facing monsters, uncovering ancient secrets, and forging bonds with companions along the way.

Focus on completing side quests to unlock new vocations and powerful equipment. Use the Tag Mode to exchange treasure maps with friends via local wireless for rare items. Keep your party balanced with a mix of melee, ranged, and support vocations, and regularly visit the Inn to save and recover HP/MP.
