About This Game
Imperial Warplane is a vertically scrolling shoot 'em up released for the Nintendo Entertainment System, featuring a fantasy-themed storyline where players pilot advanced aircraft to defend the empire against invading forces.
Story
The empire faces a dark invasion from mysterious forces. As the last line of defense, elite pilots take to the skies in advanced warplanes to protect their homeland and repel the enemy onslaught.
Controls
D-Pad: Move aircraft; A Button: Fire main weapon; B Button: Use bomb/sub‑weapon; Start: Pause game; Select: (if used) change weapon or option.
