About This Game

A side-scrolling action game based on Disney's The Little Mermaid, where players control Ariel as she explores underwater and surface worlds, collecting items and defeating enemies.

Story

Ariel, a curious mermaid princess, dreams of living among humans. She makes a dangerous bargain with the sea witch Ursula to trade her voice for legs, embarking on a quest to win Prince Eric's love before time runs out.

Guide & Tips

Use the D-pad to move Ariel, A to jump, B to attack or use collected items. Collect treasures and power-ups to increase your score and health. Watch out for Ursula's minions and avoid hazards. Pause with Start to check your inventory.

Controls

D-pad: Move; A: Jump; B: Attack / Use Item; Start: Pause; Select: Switch Weapon / Item (if applicable).

Trivia

Developed and published by Capcom in 1991, the NES version features a soundtrack by Hiroshige Tonomura. The Chinese edition was localized by 中伟, translating all on-screen text.
