About This Game

Alien Syndrome is a side-scrolling run-and-gun action game where players control a soldier fighting through alien-infested bases to rescue hostages and defeat the alien queen.

Story

In the year 20XX, alien forces have invaded Earth's research bases, capturing scientists and threatening humanity. A lone soldier is sent into the infested facilities to rescue the hostages and destroy the alien menace.

Guide & Tips

Use the D-pad to move and aim. Press A to jump and B to fire your current weapon. Collect power-ups to upgrade your weapon and grenades. Keep moving to avoid enemy fire and use grenades for clusters of enemies.

Controls

D-Pad: Move / Aim; A Button: Jump; B Button: Fire / Switch Weapon (if applicable); Start: Pause; Select: Change Weapon / Map (if applicable).

Trivia

The NES version of Alien Syndrome was released in 1989 and is a single-player adaptation of the arcade original, which featured a two-player cooperative mode that was omitted in the home console port.
