About This Game

Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light is the inaugural title in the Fire Emblem series, a tactical role-playing game where players command Prince Marth and his allies to reclaim the kingdom of Altea from the evil Dragon Medeus.

Story

Prince Marth of Altea must gather allies and retrieve the sacred Fire Emblem to defeat the resurrected dragon Medeus, who threatens to plunge the world into darkness.

Guide & Tips

Use the D-pad to move the cursor, highlight a unit and press A to select it. Choose an action (Move, Attack, etc.) with A, confirm with A again, or cancel with B. End your turn by pressing Start when all units have acted.

Controls

D-pad: Move cursor/unit; A: Select/confirm action; B: Cancel/open menu; Start: Pause/end turn; Select: (often unused)
