About This Game
Pokémon Silver is the second generation of the Pokémon series, released for the Game Boy Color. Players explore the Johto region, capture and train Pokémon, battle Gym Leaders, and ultimately challenge the Elite Four to become the Champion.
Story
You are a young trainer from New Bark Town who receives a Pokémon from Professor Elm. After a mysterious encounter with a strange Pokémon, you set out on a journey to become the strongest trainer, collect Gym badges, thwart the plans of the evil Team Rocket, and ultimately challenge the Elite Four and the Champion.
Guide & Tips
Start in New Bark Town, choose your starter Pokémon (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile). Follow the professor's advice to travel east, collect the first badge from Falkner in Violet City. Continue north through routes and caves, defeating Gym Leaders (Bugsy, Whitney, Morty, etc.), obtaining the eight Johto badges. After obtaining the National Dex (via the Time Capsule), you can travel to Kanto to challenge the Kanto Gym Leaders and the Elite Four. Use the day/night system to encounter time‑specific Pokémon and events.
