About This Game
Pokémon Crystal is the third version of the first generation of Pokémon games, released for the Game Boy Color. It features enhanced graphics, a Battle Tower, and the ability to play as a female character for the first time in the series.
Story
You play as a young Pokémon Trainer who travels through the Johto region, challenging gym leaders and collecting badges. Your journey leads you to become the Champion while uncovering Team Rocket's schemes and exploring the mysterious Whirl Islands. The story culminates with encounters with legendary Pokémon like Suicune and the legendary birds.
Guide & Tips
Start by choosing your starter Pokémon (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile) and progress through Johto region gyms. After defeating the Elite Four, you can challenge the Battle Tower. Use the in-game clock to encounter time-based Pokémon and events. The game features a mobile adapter for trading and battling with other players.

D-Pad: Move character/Navigate menus. A Button: Confirm/Interact/Select. B Button: Cancel/Exit/Run. Start: Pause menu/Access menu. Select: Use registered key item.

Trivia
Pokémon Crystal was the first Pokémon game to allow players to choose a female avatar. It was also the last original Game Boy Color game released in North America before the Game Boy Advance launch. The legendary beast Suicune plays a prominent role in the game's storyline and can be seen running across the overworld.
