About This Game

Story
You embark on a journey from your hometown of New Bark Town to become the Pokémon Champion. The story emphasizes the bond between trainer and Pokémon, culminating in a showdown at the Indigo Plateau where you must defeat the Elite Four and the Champion to prove your worth.

Begin in New Bark Town, receive your starter Pokémon from Professor Elm, and travel through Johto collecting the eight Gym Badges. Defeat the Elite Four and Champion Lance, then gain access to Kanto where you can challenge the Kanto Gym Leaders, defeat the Elite Four again, and finally encounter the legendary Ho‑Oh and Lugia. Side quests include the Battle Tower, the Safari Zone, and various optional events like the Pokémon Lottery and the Radio Tower.
