About This Game
MegaMan Battle Network 2 (RockMan.EXE 2) is the second entry in the Battle Network series for the Game Boy Advance. Players control Lan Hikari and his NetNavi MegaMan.EXE as they jack into the cyber world to battle viruses, collect battle chips, and thwart the evil organization World Three (WWW) from unleashing the powerful Navi Bass.
Story
Lan Hikari receives an upgraded PET and partners with MegaMan.EXE to investigate a surge of cybercrime caused by the notorious organization World Three (WWW). WWW seeks to unleash the mysterious and powerful Navi Bass, whose release would destabilize both the cyber and real worlds. Together, Lan and MegaMan.EXE battle through net towns, defeat WWW's agents, and strive to stop Bass before chaos ensues.
Guide & Tips
Begin by jacking in from Lan's PET. Use the D-pad to move MegaMan.EXE through the net fields, encountering viruses in random battles. During battle, select chips from your folder with L/R, confirm with A to attack, and B to cancel or dash. Collect new chips after victories and manage your folder via the menu (Start). Defeat bosses to advance the story and unlock new areas.

Trivia
This installment introduced the "Dark Chip" system—powerful chips that boost attack strength but gradually drain the player's HP when used, adding a risk‑reward mechanic to chip selection.
