About This Game
Rockman & Forte (known internationally as Mega Man & Bass) is a side-scrolling action-platformer for the Game Boy Advance where players can choose to play as either Mega Man or Bass, each with unique abilities, to thwart Dr. Wily's latest scheme.
Story
Dr. Wily creates a powerful new robot, Bass (Forte), to finally defeat Mega Man. However, Bass develops his own agenda and rebels against his creator. Mega Man must team up with (or compete against) Bass to stop Wily's plan and restore peace.
Guide & Tips
Use the D-pad to move, A to jump, and B to fire your weapon. Press L/R to cycle through acquired weapons. Defeat bosses to earn their weapons. Choose Mega Man or Bass at the start of each stage to suit your playstyle.
Controls
D-pad: Move; A: Jump; B: Fire/Use Weapon; L: Previous Weapon; R: Next Weapon; Start: Pause; Select: View Map/Status (if applicable).
Trivia
Rockman & Forte was the first and only Mega Man title released exclusively for the Game Boy Advance in Japan. It introduced Bass as a playable character, and its Japanese title combines the musical terms 'rock' and 'forte' (loud).
