About This Game
A Link to the Past & Four Swords is a Game Boy Advance compilation that pairs the SNES classic The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past with the multiplayer‑oriented The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. Players can experience the single‑player adventure of rescuing Zelda and defeating Ganon, then team up with up to three friends via link cable to tackle the cooperative Four Swords mode.
Story
In A Link to the Past, Link must rescue Princess Zelda and stop the evil wizard Agahnim from breaking the seal that holds Ganon in the Dark World. In Four Swords, a Vaati‑created threat forces Zelda to call upon the legendary Four Sword, splitting Link into four heroes who must work together to restore peace.
Guide & Tips
Begin in the kingdom of Hyrule as Link. Explore the overworld, enter dungeons, collect items (such as the Boomerang, Hookshot, and Master Sword), and defeat bosses to acquire the Pendants of Virtue. After securing the three pendants, enter the Dark World to rescue the Seven Maidens and ultimately confront Ganon. In Four Swords mode, each player controls a colored Link; cooperate to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and collect Force Gems to progress through the stages.

Trivia
This was the first Legend of Zelda title released on the Game Boy Advance. The Four Swords portion requires a link cable for multiplayer and was later made available as a standalone downloadable game for the Nintendo DSi via DSiWare.
