About This Game
Final Fantasy IV for Nintendo DS is a fully remastered version of the classic 1991 RPG, featuring updated 3D graphics, voice acting, and the new Augment system that allows players to transfer abilities between characters.
Story
The game follows Cecil Harvey, a dark knight of the kingdom of Baron, who begins to question his king's deeds after attacking the village of Mysidia. He renounces his dark path, becomes a paladin, and sets out with friends to stop the evil machinations of the arch‑villain Golbez and save the world from the threat of the crystals.
Guide & Tips
Focus on exploiting elemental weaknesses, use the Augment system to pass useful abilities like White Magic to Cecil or Black Magic to Rosa, keep a balanced party, and make use of the auto‑battle option for grinding.
Controls
D‑Pad: Move / Highlight menu options; A: Confirm / Select; B: Cancel / Back; X: Open main menu; Y: Quick use item (touch screen also works); L/R: Cycle through party members or adjust camera; Start: Pause / Open options; Select: Show map or toggle auto‑battle.
