About This Game

Final Fantasy III is a turn-based role-playing game originally released for the Nintendo DS in 2006, featuring a refined job system, updated 3D graphics, and full voice acting. Players control four Warriors of Light as they strive to restore the elemental crystals and save the world from impending darkness.

Story

Long ago, the world was sustained by four elemental crystals—Wind, Water, Fire, and Earth. When the crystals begin to dim, darkness spreads, threatening to engulf the realm. Four youths, guided by a mysterious voice, are chosen as the Warriors of Light. Their journey takes them across varied lands, through ancient ruins and towering dungeons, as they seek to restore the crystals' power and defeat the evil sorcerer Xande, who seeks to plunge the world into eternal night.

Guide & Tips

Begin by balancing your party’s jobs: assign one character as a White Mage for healing, another as a Black Mage for offense, a third as a Knight for defense, and the fourth as a Thief for item acquisition. Early on, focus on raising the White Mage’s Cura and the Black Mage’s Fire to exploit enemy weaknesses. Use the job change system frequently—switching jobs after each major dungeon grants bonus stats. Save often before boss fights, and remember that many bosses have elemental affinities; exploit them with appropriate spells or weapons. Finally, don’t forget to talk to NPCs in towns for side quests that reward rare equipment and extra gil.
