About This Game
Dropzone is a side‑scrolling shoot 'em up for the NES where you control a jetpack‑armed soldier tasked with rescuing hostages from alien abductors while fending off waves of enemy fire.
Story
In the near future, alien forces have begun abducting humans for unknown experiments. As a member of the elite Dropzone squad, you pilot a jetpack‑armed suit to infiltrate enemy zones, destroy alien crafts, and rescue the captured hostages before they are taken away forever.
Guide & Tips
Use the D‑pad to move your character left, right, up (jetpack ascent) and down (descent). Press A to fire your weapon continuously; holding A gives a rapid burst. Press B to drop a limited‑use bomb that clears nearby enemies. Collect power‑ups that appear after destroying certain foes to upgrade your weapon or gain extra lives. Keep an eye on the hostage indicator at the top of the screen – rescuing all hostages in a stage grants a bonus and advances you to the next level.
