About This Game

The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap is an action-adventure game developed by Capcom and published by Nintendo for Game Boy Advance in 2004. It features Link on a quest to save Princess Zelda and restore peace to the land by using the magical Minish Cap, which allows him to shrink to the size of the Picori.

Story

Link lives in a small village named Hyrule. One day, an evil sorcerer named Vaati turns Princess Zelda to stone. Link is given the Minish Cap, a magical hat created by the Picori, to help him on his quest. By wearing the cap, Link can shrink to the size of the Picori, allowing him to explore new areas and solve puzzles. On his journey, Link travels across Hyrule, collects Kinstone pieces, and eventually confronts Vaati to save Zelda and restore peace to the land.

Guide & Tips

Begin by exploring Hyrule and talking to NPCs to gather information. Use the Minish Cap to shrink and explore previously inaccessible areas. Collect Kinstone pieces to complete the Kinstone charts and unlock new abilities. Defeat enemies and bosses by mastering sword techniques and utilizing items like the Mole Mitts for digging.

Controls

Directional Pad: Move character, navigate menus. A Button: Confirm selection, use item, attack. B Button: Cancel, jump. L/R Shoulder Buttons: Use assigned items, camera control. Start Button: Pause game, open menu.

Cheats & Passwords

At the title screen, hold L and R and press Up, Down, Left, Right, A, B, Start. This unlocks the 'Goddess' difficulty. Another cheat: While playing, press and hold Select, then press L, R, Up, Down, Left, Right to restore health.

Trivia

The Minish Cap was the first Zelda game to be developed primarily by Capcom rather than Nintendo. The game introduces the character Ezlo, a talking hat who was once a Picori. Kinstone fusion is a unique feature of this game, allowing players to combine pieces to create new abilities. The game was later re-released on the Wii U Virtual Console.
