About This Game
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening is an action-adventure game where Link, after being shipwrecked on the mysterious Koholint Island, must gather the eight Instruments of the Sirens to awaken the sleeping Wind Fish and find a way home.
Story
After a storm destroys his ship, Link washes ashore on Koholint Island, a place that exists only in the dreams of the Wind Fish. To leave, he must awaken the Wind Fish by collecting the eight Instruments of the Sirens hidden in the island’s dungeons.
Guide & Tips
Explore the island, defeat dungeons to obtain each Instrument, use the Power Bracelet to lift heavy objects, and keep track of maps and clues. Save often and talk to every NPC for hints.
Controls
D‑Pad: Move; A: Swing sword / use selected item; B: Jump / dash; Start: Pause / open menu; Select: View map / item screen.
Trivia
Link's Awakening was the first Zelda title released on a handheld console and introduced the iconic 'marin' and 'mad scientist' references, including a cameo appearance by Mario. It was later remade for the Nintendo Switch in 2019.
