About This Game

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Game Boy Advance. It is the eighth installment in the Fire Emblem series. The game features two playable protagonists, Eirika and Ephraim, and follows their journeys to save their kingdom from the invading Grado Empire.

Story

The game is set in the continent of Magvel, where the peace has been maintained for centuries by the Sacred Stones. However, the Grado Empire, led by Emperor Vigarde, suddenly invades the neighboring countries, seeking to destroy the Sacred Stones. Princess Eirika of Renais escapes the invasion and sets out on a journey to save her kingdom and reunite with her brother, Prince Ephraim. Meanwhile, Ephraim, who was away at the time of the invasion, also returns to find his kingdom in ruins and his sister missing. The siblings must reunite and discover the truth behind Grado's sudden attack and the dark forces at play.

Guide & Tips

The game follows a traditional Fire Emblem gameplay style with turn-based tactical combat. Players must position their units strategically on grid-based maps to defeat enemy units. The game features a class change system where characters can promote to stronger classes upon reaching certain levels. There are also two separate routes to follow, with Eirika's route being slightly more challenging.
