About This Game
The King of Fighters '99: EX2 – Roar of Blood is a fighting game for the Game Boy Advance that expands the original KOF ’99 roster with new characters and alternate costumes.
Story
Set in the universe of The King of Fighters '99, the game follows the secret "Maximum Octagon" tournament where fighters from various clans and organizations battle for supremacy. New protagonists such as Shingo Yabuki and the secret team "Soliders of Destiny" join the fray, adding fresh twists to the classic KOF storyline.
Guide & Tips
1. Choose your favorite team of three fighters. 2. Master each character’s basic moves (light punch/kick, heavy punch/kick) and special attacks by using the A/B buttons with directional inputs. 3. Use the Select button to switch between active characters during a match. 4. Practice the "Super Cancel" technique to chain a Super Special into a regular combo for extra damage. 5. In the versus mode, adjust the difficulty in the options screen to match your skill level.
Controls
D‑Pad: Move character; A: Light Punch; B: Light Kick; L: Heavy Punch; R: Heavy Kick; Start: Pause; Select: Switch active fighter; L+R: Activate Super Move (if energy bar is full).
Cheats & Passwords
Infinite Health: At the title screen, press ↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← → B A. Then start a match – your characters will have unlimited health. Unlimited Super Moves: During a match, pause the game and press L + R + Start + Select. All Super Moves become free to use.

• The Japanese title includes the subtitles "孤独狮子&恒星月&天空联盟", referencing three hidden bonus teams unlocked via specific cheat codes. • The cartridge size is 64 MiB, making it one of the larger GBA fighting games of its time. • Some moves were altered from the original arcade version to fit the handheld’s limited button layout.
