About This Game
Metal Slug Advance is a side-scrolling run-and-gun action game released for the Game Boy Advance in 2004. It continues the over-the-top arcade warfare of the Metal Slug series, letting players blast through hordes of enemies with a variety of weapons, vehicles, and explosive combos.
Story
The game follows members of the Peregrine Falcon Squad—Marco Rossi, Tarma Roving, Eri Kasamoto, and Fio Germi—as they rebel against the nefarious General Morden and his Rebel Army, battling through diverse terrains to stop his plans for world domination.
Guide & Tips
Keep moving and use the grenade button (L) to clear groups of enemies. Conserve ammo by switching to melee attacks when weapons overheat, and watch for vehicle pickups that grant temporary invincibility. Memorize enemy patterns and use the jump (A) to avoid projectiles.

Trivia
Metal Slug Advance was the first entry in the series to appear on a handheld console and was co-developed by SNK and Noise Factory. Despite its handheld limitations, it retains the series' signature humor, detailed sprite work, and chaotic boss battles.
