About This Game
Metal Slug Advance is a side-scrolling run-and-gun action game for the Game Boy Advance, part of the Metal Slug series. Players control members of the Peregrine Falcons as they battle the Rebel Army led by General Morden across various missions.
Story
Set in 20XX, the Rebel Army under General Morden has launched a worldwide invasion. The Regular Army's elite unit, the Peregrine Falcons, is deployed to thwart Morden's plans and restore peace.
Guide & Tips
Begin by selecting a character, then progress through stages by defeating enemies, collecting power-ups, and defeating bosses. Use grenades to clear groups, switch weapons for different situations, and watch for hidden items that grant extra lives or ammo. Memorize enemy patterns and use cover to survive tougher encounters.
Controls
D-Pad: Move; A: Jump; B: Fire/Shot; L: Change Weapon; R: Throw Grenade; Start: Pause; Select: Switch Character (or open map).
Trivia
Metal Slug Advance was the first original Metal Slug title developed specifically for the Game Boy Advance, released in 2004. It later appeared in compilations such as Metal Slug Anthology.
