About This Game

Lego Star Wars: The Video Game is a family-friendly action-adventure title that adapts the prequel trilogy (Episodes I-III) into humorous Lego form. Players control various Star Wars characters, solving puzzles and battling enemies through iconic scenes from the films.

Story

The game retells Episodes I-III with comedic charm—Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan battle Darth Maul, young Anakin races pods, and Jedi face the Clone Wars before confronting Chancellor Palpatine's transformation into Darth Sidious. All delivered through Lego's signature humor and cutscenes.

Guide & Tips

Focus on collecting minikits (10 per level, 50 to unlock bonus content). Use the force to solve environmental puzzles—characters like Obi-Wan and Vader can move objects. Switch characters frequently to exploit their unique abilities. In combat, use lightsabers for deflections and ground pounds. Save studs to buy extras in the cantina.

Controls

D-pad: Move character. A: Jump/Confirm. B: Attack/Use/Interact. L: Cycle character left. R: Cycle character right. Start: Pause menu. Select: Switch to free-play mode when available.

Cheats & Passwords

Unlock Indiana Jones by completing all 6 chapters. Enter '1A2B3C4D5E6F' in the password menu for invincibility. Hold L+R at the start of a level and press A,B,Up,Down to unlock all characters immediately.

Trivia

The GBA version was co-developed by Traveller's Tales and DIMPS, making extensive use of Mode 7-style scaling for asteroid fields. The 'superkit' minikit in each level unlocks a secret Indiana Jones cameo—a rare crossover since both franchises were under LucasArts.
