About This Game
Mr. Driller 2 is a puzzle-action game where players control Susumu Hori as he drills downward through colorful blocks, avoiding falling debris and collecting power-ups to reach the goal.
Story
Susumu Hori, aka Mr. Driller, ventures deeper into the earth to stop a mysterious underground threat that is causing blocks to rise and endanger the surface. With his trusty drill, he must rescue his friends and restore peace.
Guide & Tips
Use the D-pad to move left/right. Press Up to drill the block in front of you. Hold Down to fall faster. Collect air tanks to keep your oxygen meter from depleting. Avoid being crushed by falling blocks. Reach the bottom of each stage to clear it. In VS mode, link two GBAs to compete against a friend.
Controls
D-pad: Move left/right; Up: Drill; Down: Fall faster; A: Drill (alternate); B: Use item / Jump; Start: Pause; Select: Switch item or open menu.
Trivia
The GBA version of Mr. Driller 2 features an exclusive VS mode playable via the Game Boy Advance link cable, a feature not present in the original arcade release. It also includes a hidden 'Hard' difficulty that can be unlocked by achieving a high score in the normal mode.
