Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen is a remake of the classic RPG Dragon Quest IV for the Nintendo DS, featuring enhanced graphics, touch-screen controls, and additional content.
Story
Dragon Quest IV tells the tale of five separate heroes whose destinies intertwine. From a righteous knight defending his castle, to a brave princess seeking adventure, a talented magician, a loyal warrior, and a mysterious hero, they each face their own challenges before uniting to stop the demon lord Psaro from plunging the world into darkness.
Guide & Tips
The game is divided into five chapters, each focusing on a different protagonist. Complete each chapter's objectives, recruit allies, and upgrade equipment before proceeding to the final chapter where all heroes unite to defeat the evil lord Psaro.
Controls
Use the D-pad to move your character. Press A to confirm actions, talk, or open menus. Press B to cancel or go back. Use L and R to switch between the top and bottom screens when needed. The touch screen can be used for menu navigation, selecting items, and controlling the cursor in battles.
Trivia
The DS remake was the first Dragon Quest title to feature full voice acting for major story events and introduced a new 'Party Talk' system that lets players hear characters' thoughts during gameplay.
