About This Game
Space Invaders DS is a Nintendo DS remake of the classic arcade shooter Space Invaders, featuring updated graphics, new game modes, and optional touch-screen controls.
Story
An alien armada has descended upon Earth, threatening to conquer the planet. You command the last remaining laser cannon, tasked with destroying the invading waves before they reach the surface and annihilate humanity.
Guide & Tips
Move your laser cannon left and right with the D‑pad to dodge enemy fire. Press the A button to shoot and destroy the descending alien rows. Clear each wave to advance to the next, faster and more aggressive formation. Use the touch screen optionally to aim and fire if you prefer. Survive as long as possible and achieve a high score.
Controls
D‑Pad Left/Right: Move ship; A Button: Fire laser; B Button: (Optional) Activate special weapon/bomb in Arrange mode; Start: Pause game; Select: Switch between Classic/Arrange modes; Touch Screen: Optional touch to move/fire.
Trivia
Released exclusively in Japan, Space Invaders DS offers both a faithful Classic mode and an Arrange mode with new enemies, power‑ups, and altered patterns. The game supports DS Download Play for two‑player versus matches and utilizes both screens—showing the action on the top screen and score/radar information on the bottom.
