About This Game
Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness – Christmas Final Edition is a fan‑translated Nintendo DS version of the classic farming simulator. Players arrive on a deserted island and must restore it to prosperity by farming, raising animals, mining, fishing, befriending villagers, and participating in seasonal festivals, including special Christmas events.
Story
You arrive on a once‑thriving island that has fallen into neglect. The island’s former prosperity has faded, and the villagers are struggling to make ends meet. Guide & Tips
Begin by clearing weeds and tilling soil for crops. Plant fast‑growing vegetables early to earn money. Upgrade your tools at the blacksmith as soon as you can. Raise chickens and cows for daily products like eggs and milk. Befriend villagers by giving them gifts they like (check their preferences in the menu) and attend festivals to increase friendship. Keep an eye on stamina; eat food or rest to recover. Use the mine to gather ores for tool upgrades. Participate in the Christmas festival to unlock exclusive decorations and recipes.
