About This Game
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia is an action-platformer game for the Nintendo DS, released in 2008. Players control Shanoa, a member of the Ecclesia organization, as she battles through Dracula's castle to retrieve the powerful Dominus glyphs and stop the vampire lord's resurrection.
Story
Set in the early 1800s, the game follows Shanoa, a young woman raised by the Ecclesia, a secret organization dedicated to eradicating evil. When Dracula's castle reappears, Shanoa is sent to infiltrate the fortress, retrieve the three Dominus glyphs that can seal the vampire lord, and prevent his resurrection. Along the way, she uncovers the truth about her past and the sacrifices required to defeat darkness.
Guide & Tips
Begin by exploring the early areas to learn basic movement and combat. Collect glyphs to unlock new abilities (such as double jump, slide, and powerful attacks). Focus on upgrading your primary weapon and subweapons by finding hidden items and defeating bosses. Use the map (accessed via Select) to track unexplored rooms and secret passages. When facing bosses, learn their patterns, dodge attacks, and strike during openings. Save frequently at save points to avoid losing progress.

Trivia
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia was the first Castlevania title released exclusively for the Nintendo DS, and it introduced the glyph system that allowed players to customize Shanoa's abilities by equipping different magical symbols. The game's Japanese title is "Akumajō Doraibu: Ubawareta Kokuin" (悪魔城 ドラビュウ: 奪われた刻印).
