About This Game
Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is the fifth main entry in the Fire Emblem series and serves as a side story to Genealogy of the Holy War, focusing on Prince Leif's struggle to liberate his homeland.
Story
Set in the year 776 of the Grannvale calendar, the game follows Prince Leif of Leonster as he leads a rebellion against the occupying forces of the Grannvale Empire. After his kingdom is conquered, Leif gathers allies and fights to liberate his homeland, uncovering the truth behind the war and the fate of the holy weapons.
Guide & Tips
Manage your units' fatigue by rotating them in and out of battle; use the weapon triangle (sword>axe>lance>sword) to gain advantage; seize forts and thrones to earn extra gold and experience; pay attention to terrain bonuses and enemy reinforcements; consider using the rescue command to protect weaker units.

D-Pad: Move cursor/unit; A Button: Confirm/select action, open dialog; B Button: Cancel/back; Start Button: Pause game/open menu; Select Button: Open unit status/detail screen; L/R Buttons: Not used in default configuration.
Trivia
Thracia 776 was the only Fire Emblem game to feature a fatigue system that limits how many times a unit can act per chapter; it remained Japan-only for over two decades until its inclusion in the Nintendo Switch Online service in 2022; the game's music was composed by Yukio Kaneoka, who also worked on earlier Fire Emblem titles.
