About This Game
Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation is the sixth main entry in the Dragon Quest series, originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995. The game blends traditional turn‑based RPG mechanics with a unique job system that allows characters to change classes and learn new abilities as they progress.
Story
The hero awakens in a peaceful village with no memory of his past. Guided by a mysterious voice, he learns that his soul is split between the real world and a dream world. To restore his true self and save both realms from the evil demon lord Murdaw, he must travel between worlds, recruit allies, uncover the truth of his identity, and ultimately defeat the darkness threatening to consume both realms.
Guide & Tips
Begin by creating your hero and exploring the two intertwined worlds: the real world and the dream world. Talk to NPCs to gather clues, accept quests, and earn money to buy equipment. In battles, use the 'Attack', 'Magic', and 'Item' commands; experiment with the job system by visiting the Guild to change classes and unlock powerful abilities. Save frequently at inns or using the Save point, and remember to equip the best gear you can afford for each character.

Trivia
Dragon Quest VI was the first game in the series to introduce a robust job system, allowing characters to change classes multiple times. It was also the last mainline Dragon Quest title released for the Super Famicom/SNES before the series moved to newer consoles. The fan‑translated English version, released by the 'Dragon Quest Translation Project', made the game widely accessible outside Japan in the early 2000s.
