About This Game
Pokemon Blue Version is the first installment in the Pokemon series released for Game Boy. It was developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo in 1996. Players embark on a journey through the Kanto region, capturing, training, and battling with various creatures known as Pokemon.
Story
The story takes place in the Kanto region where players assume the role of a young Pokemon trainer. After receiving their first Pokemon from Professor Oak, the player sets out on a journey to become the Pokemon Champion. Along the way, they challenge Gym Leaders, thwart the plans of Team Rocket, and capture various Pokemon to complete their Pokedex.
Guide & Tips
Begin your journey in Pallet Town and choose either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle as your starter Pokemon. Capture and train a diverse team to challenge the eight Gym Leaders and defeat the Elite Four. Remember to complete the Pokedex by capturing all 151 Pokemon species available in the game. Key locations include Viridian City, Pewter City, Cerulean City, Vermilion City, Celadon City, Saffron City, Cinnabar Island, and the Indigo Plateau.

Trivia
Pokemon Blue was released alongside Pokemon Red in Japan. The games introduced the concept of trading between versions to collect all 151 Pokemon. The original Japanese versions had slightly different Pokemon availability compared to the international releases. Missingno. is a well-known glitch that can be encountered in the game, which allows players to duplicate items.
