About This Game
Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu (known in this Chinese hack as 成龙踢馆) is a side‑scrolling action platformer for the NES. Players control Jackie Chan as he fights through waves of thugs, bosses, and obstacles using punches, kicks, and special moves to reach the end of each stage.
Story
Jackie Chan sets out to rescue his kidnapped girlfriend from the clutches of a dangerous crime syndicate. Fighting through city streets, docks, and ancient temples, he must defeat the syndicate’s leader and restore peace.
Guide & Tips
Use the D‑pad to move left/right and to duck or climb ladders. Press A for a standard punch and B for a kick. Combining directions with attack buttons performs special moves (e.g., forward + A for a forward punch, down + B for a sweep). Collect power‑up items that appear after defeating enemies to increase your attack strength or restore health. Watch enemy patterns and time your jumps to avoid projectiles. Bosses often have a telegraphed attack—dodge then counter with a combo.
