A side-scrolling platformer where players control Scrooge McDuck as he travels around the world to collect treasures and defeat enemies.
Guide & Tips
Begin in the Amazon, collect the giant ruby, then proceed through the African mines, the Himalayas, the Transylvania castle, and finally the Moon base. Defeat each area’s boss by striking with Scrooge’s cane when they are vulnerable, and gather all hidden gems to unlock the true ending.
Controls
D-Pad: Move; A: Jump; B: Attack (cane swing); Start: Pause; Select: Switch weapon/map (if applicable).
Trivia
The game was developed and published by Capcom in 1989, based on the Disney animated series DuckTales. Its music was composed by Hiroshige Tonomura, and it is often praised for tight controls and memorable level design.
