About This Game
Romance of the Three Kingdoms II (known as 吞食天地2) is a turn-based strategy RPG released for the NES/Famicom by Koei. Players take control of one of the three major warlords—Liu Bei, Cao Cao, or Sun Jian—and strive to unify ancient China through warfare, diplomacy, and resource management.
Story
Set during the turbulent end of the Eastern Han dynasty, the game follows the legendary struggles of the warlords Cao Cao, Liu Bei, and Sun Jian as they vie for control of China, echoing the events of the historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Guide & Tips
Focus on building up your cities' agriculture and commerce early to fund armies. Use diplomacy to form alliances or bribe rivals before engaging in costly battles. When attacking, prioritize capturing enemy capitals to weaken their morale. Keep a balanced roster of infantry, cavalry, and archers, and remember to rotate troops to avoid exhaustion.

D-pad: Move cursor / navigate menus; A Button: Confirm / select; B Button: Cancel / back; Start Button: Open menu / pause; Select Button: Switch between map and report screens (if applicable).

The BonnyXie patch is a fan-made Traditional Chinese translation that added a complete script and improved text display, making the game accessible to Chinese-speaking players.
