About This Game
DuckTales is a side-scrolling platformer where players control Scrooge McDuck as he travels across exotic locales to collect treasure and defeat enemies using his trusty cane.
Story
Scrooge McDuck receives a map from his nephews pointing to five legendary treasures hidden around the world. He ventures to Transylvania, the Amazon jungle, African mines, the Himalayas, and the Moon, battling enemies and bosses, ultimately confronting the wicked witch Magica De Spell who seeks the same riches.
Guide & Tips
Use Scrooge's cane to attack enemies and break blocks. Collect diamonds and gems to earn extra lives. Look for hidden passages that lead to bonus rooms. Memorize enemy patterns in each stage to avoid damage.
Controls
D-pad: Move left/right, duck, look up; A: Jump; B: Swing cane (attack); Start: Pause; Select: (used for cheats).

Stage Select: At the title screen, press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A then Start to choose a level. 9 Lives: Pause the game, then press Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A. Invincibility: At the title screen, hold Select and press A, then Start.
Trivia
DuckTales was the first Disney game developed by Capcom, released in 1989 for the NES. Its acclaimed soundtrack was composed by Hiroshige Tonomura and is often ranked among the best NES music. The game's success led to a sequel, DuckTales 2 (1993), and a modern remake in 2013.
