About This Game
DuckTales is a side-scrolling platformer released for the NES in 1989, based on the Disney animated series. Players control Scrooge McDuck as he travels around the world to collect five legendary treasures, using his cane to pogo jump, attack enemies, and swing across gaps.
Story
Scrooge McDuck learns that five legendary treasures—the Mines of Africa, the Transylvania Castle, the Amazon Jungle, the Himalayas, and the Moon—have been scattered across the globe. Determined to increase his wealth, Scrooge sets out on a daring quest, facing off against rivals like Flintheart Glomgold, the Beagle Boys, and various monsters, all while using his trusty cane to overcome obstacles and claim the riches.
Guide & Tips
1. Master the pogo jump (press B while airborne) to reach higher platforms and defeat enemies. 2. Collect diamonds scattered throughout each level; they grant extra lives when you gather 100. 3. Use the cane swing (press B on the ground) to break certain blocks and uncover hidden items. 4. Watch for enemy patterns; many foes can be avoided by timing your jumps. 5. In each world, seek the secret treasure room by hitting specific walls with a pogo jump.

DuckTales was praised for its tight controls and memorable music, composed by Hiroshige Tonomura.
