About This Game

Adventure Island (known as 'Taito no Hawaii' in Japan) is a classic NES platformer game developed and published by Taito in 1986. The game features side-scrolling action where players control a character (Takahashi in the Japanese version) who must traverse various islands, avoiding enemies and obstacles to rescue his girlfriend. The game is known for its challenging difficulty and unique dinosaur-riding mechanics.

Story

The protagonist Takahashi's girlfriend has been kidnapped by an evil tribe. He must journey through dangerous islands filled with dinosaurs, cavemen, and various traps to rescue her. Each island presents new challenges and enemies that stand between him and his beloved.

Guide & Tips

The objective is to reach the end of each stage and rescue your girlfriend. Use stones to defeat enemies and collect power-ups to extend your abilities. The game features a fatigue system - if you stay idle too long, your energy depletes, so keep moving. Ride on dinosaurs when you find them for better defense and attack capabilities. Memorize the patterns of enemies and obstacles in each level to progress efficiently.
