About This Game
Naito 9-dan's Shogi Secret is a NES shogi (Japanese chess) simulation that lets players study and play shogi with guidance from professional 9-dan player Naito.
Story
The game presents a series of shogi puzzles and matches supervised by the legendary 9-dan shogi player Naito, offering players a chance to learn advanced tactics and improve their game.
Guide & Tips
Use the D-pad to highlight a piece, press A to pick it up, move the cursor to a legal destination and press A again to place it. Press B to cancel a selection or undo a move. Aim to checkmate the opponent's king while following standard shogi rules.
Controls
D-pad: move cursor; A: select/confirm piece; B: cancel/undo; Start: pause/open menu; Select: switch view (if available).
